Grace started out in sales and customer service at seventeen and, after several years, decided she wanted something more fulfilling. She took a break to retrain in administration, and once she had her first qualifications behind her, she joined an outsourced paraplanning firm as a client administrator. It suited her from the start. She loves organising and scheduling, and the role gave her plenty of both. Two years in, after getting some work experience writing review letters, she knew paraplanning was what she wanted to do next.
She joined Navigatus in March 2026 and now works with our paraplanners, pulling together the data and background that goes into our research and suitability reports, alongside her Paraplanning Apprenticeship. Grace has always loved writing, and says there’s a creative side to paraplanning that stops it from feeling like work at all.
Clocking off
Outside work, Grace is a self-confessed homebody, and most evenings you’ll find her at home with her husband working through a new anime or an old favourite. She’s a serious anime fan with the merchandise collection to prove it, and when she does venture out, it’s usually for a convention or another tattoo. She has 25 of them, mostly hidden under her sleeves, which tends to catch people out.
