Aleksandra Sasin

Founder & Chief Paraplanner

My name is Aleks Sasin, and I am an outsourced paraplanner based in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

I have over 15 years of experience working in financial services. I worked for both small and large organisations and held a variety of positions. My roles included working as a Financial Adviser for a life office, an Account Manager providing technical support to financial planning firms, a Senior Paraplanner in a Chartered IFA practice, and a Technical Manager leading a team of Paraplanners and Report Writers and coordinating the delivery of paraplanning services across the entire company.

Although I had a successful career and a job I loved, the demands of corporate lifestyle were starting to take their toll on my family life. Therefore, in 2017 I decided to turn everything upside down and exchange high heels, 6 am trains to London and evenings spent clearing 200+ emails for the freedom and flexibility of running my own business, doing what I love the most – providing support to financial planners and helping their clients achieve their dreams.

I am a Chartered Financial Planner and a member of the Personal Finance Society. I never stop learning and have amassed a whole range of qualifications from a variety of professional bodies. I was named Student of the Year 2017 in the CII examinations at Advanced Diploma Level by the Insurance Institute of Bournemouth. I hold a Foundation Degree in Financial Services from the Open University, for which I won a Richard Delbridge Prize awarded to the highest-achieving student in a cohort. More recently, I have been named an Outsourced Paraplanner of the Year 2019 by the Professional Paraplanner. I also speak fluent Polish (although it rarely comes in handy when preparing financial plans).

If I’m not paraplanning, I can be spotted Nordic Walking across the beautiful Wiltshire fields, listening to one of many podcasts I subscribe to, baking with my 13-year old daughter, or crocheting another blanket.

Joanne Parkes


My name is Jo Parkes, and I am an outsourced paraplanner based in Exmouth, Devon. I joined Navigatus in July 2019.

I have over 20 years of experience working in financial services. I started my career working for a large corporate organisation before moving into a compliance supervisor role for a national IFA network.  Prior to joining Navigatus, I worked for a small firm of financial advisers in Devon where my responsibilities included report writing and compliance supervision.  This joint role gave me great insight into the challenges small firms have in finding the right balance between being compliant and commercial.

Whilst I really enjoyed my role, my children are no longer as dependent on me and I decided to look for a new challenge.  I, therefore, completed my Diploma in Financial Planning with the PFS and was lucky enough to find Navigatus.  I am now working towards building my knowledge and skills in the outsourced sector and eventually becoming Chartered.

If I’m not paraplanning, I can be found ferrying my three children around to various out of school activities and, time permitting, I enjoy going to the gym, walking and supporting Exeter Chiefs – my local rugby team.

Micheala Hawkins

Business Support Manager

My name is Micheala Hawkins, and I joined Navigatus in June 2018. In my role, I work with Aleks and the paraplanning team and provide our flexible administration support service. My duties range from gathering plan data and carrying out client reviews to undertaking specific project work. Every financial planning firm is different, and we aim to provide genuinely bespoke support that meets each firm’s particular needs. My days are always varied and very busy, but I enjoy being part of a small company that focuses on delivering personal service. I was, therefore, over the moon when I learnt that I won the Professional Paraplanner Administrator of the Year 2020 award.

I have over ten years’ experience in financial services. I started my career in the world of SIPP administration, where I spoke to financial advisers every day. I then joined a local financial planning practice, where I discovered my passion for providing exceptional service to financial planners and their clients.  When an opportunity came up to join Aleks and be part of a small but growing company that wants to make a real difference in how small financial planning firms work, I didn’t hesitate.

Since joining Navigatus, I have started studying for professional exams and successfully completed the CII Certificate in Financial Services. I am currently starting my journey towards the diploma-level qualification.

Navigatus is a modern workplace where flexibility, balance and well-being are actively promoted. Without the pressure and rigidity of a strict 9-5 schedule, we are under less stress, enjoy what we do a lot more, and the happier we are, the better we can support our clients.

In my spare time, you will find me meditating, attempting to cook, watching live music, or enjoying a gin in my local rural pub.

Amy Hunt

Client Support Manager

I joined Navigatus in January 2020 and oversee the delivery of our outsourced administration service across the company. I have over 10 years’ experience as an administrator supporting financial planners in firms of all types and sizes, from 3 members of staff to large corporations. I understand that all companies are different and have different needs.

When the opportunity came up to join Navigatus, I jumped at the chance to be part of such a caring and passionate team to provide great flexible support to small financial planning firms. I enjoy getting to know how the advisers I support work and how we can help them provide the best service to their clients.

In my spare time, I enjoy practising saxophone or flute with the various bands I play with, watching movies and travelling.

Keziah Condy


My name is Kez Condy, and I joined Navigatus in July 2020 as an Assistant Paraplanner based in Salisbury.  I have over 20 years’ experience in financial services, having worked for both smaller companies and large corporates. I started my career at a local pension provider, carrying out valuations and reviewing and recalculating clients’ income, working my way up to Team Leader. I then accepted a position at a small financial planning firm, which enabled me to broaden my knowledge of the wide range of financial products that are available, and helped me gain an insight into how advisers and their support staff work.

Next came a Sales Support role at a large provider, where I spoke to financial advisers every day and provided assistance to them to help with all aspects of their clients’ needs. I studied and passed CF1 and also learned a great deal about the varied investment solutions available to clients. Sadly, the long commute eventually took its toll, so I accepted a role closer to home at a specialist SIPP company, once again supporting advisers and their clients. More recently I have been employed as a Report Writer at a financial planning firm, where I studied and passed FA1 – Life Office Administration. I have also been working towards a Paraplanning Apprenticeship and have passed R01, R02, R03 and J09 exams attaining the Certificate in Paraplanning.

I’m delighted to join the team at Navigatus who share my passion for providing personalised service and achieving excellence in everything we do. I’m also pleased to be able to continue my studies towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, and then work towards Chartered status.

Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends, going on long walks with my husband and 11-year-old daughter, cooking, camping, and generally being in the great outdoors, especially near the sea.

Haidy McGregor

Client Support Manager

My name is Haidy McGregor and I originally come from the deepest darkest Peru but have been living in England for almost 20 years. I joined Navigatus in August 2021 and have 14 years of experience working for the financial sector in a variety of roles. I hold the Certificate in Investment Administration, the Certificate in Life & Pensions and the Award in Long Term Care Insurance.

Working with independent financial advisers has been a great education and a joyful experience; I understand the complexities of their roles and the need for accuracy and results. After taking a career break to raise my children, I am really looking forward to continuing my studies to become a Paraplanner and to contribute to the success of the company offering the best service to our clients.

When I am not working, I spend my time looking after my three children and helping to renovate our old cottage.
